  • Low Cost Classified Ads -- You may post classified ads under any Category for only $4.00 per posting. Your classified ad posts will remain on line until sold, or for a maximum of six months. 
  • Free One-Time Registration -- As a Seller, you will want to click on Register Now and register to post classified ads or auctions.
  • Pictures and videos -- You may append up to ten full size pictures to each item you post or auction. If needed, you can post up to two videos from YouTube. There is no charge for posting pictures.
  • "My Account" pages allow you to edit your account settings any time you wish... day or night. Also, you can check how may users have viewed your items!
  • Our Listing process is very simple to use. You are guided through each step of the process, which only takes a minute or two before your listing is posted and alive.
  • "Auctions and Classified Ads" are available. You choose which method of selling best meets the need, item by item.
  • "My Active Listings" page allows you to view a list of your "Active Listings" on the site, as well as edit those listings.
  • "My Expired Listings" page allows you to view listings that have recently expired on the site.
  • Our "Messaging System" gives you the ability to communicate with buyers directly from this site without having to open up your email client. Message system offers a "private" setting for you to keep your email private from other sellers and buyers on the site.
  • "Browse by thumbnails" feature  displays the first uploaded picture as a thumbnail image for all visitors to see when browsing the site.
  • "Seller's Other Listings" link is conveniently located on the listing display page for your potential buyers to view all of your other listings that are currently active on the site.
  • "Tell-a-Friend" link on each listing display page allows visitors to your listing to quickly send a listing's details to a friend, using the the GunsByGoophie.com messaging system.
  • "Contact Seller" link is explicitly located on each listing page for your buyers to contact you directly with any questions they may have concerning your listing. The listing title and ID is automatically included in the message that is sent for quick reference.
  • "Featured Listing" status gives your listing some additional exposure at the top of all browse listing pages..
  • "Easy to use Categories" not only makes it easy for you to properly place your listings but makes it easy for buyers to find your specific posting. The prime categories are Pistols, Rifles, Shotguns, Shooting Supplies and Shooting Activities.
  • Our Fast Search Engine is available to search for your item by any word or phrase anywhere in your posting. Better yet, prospective buyers can enter their ZIP code and find postings at a selected distance from their physical location.

Buyer Features

  • As a Buyer, you do not need to register to contact sellers and negotiate business.
  • As a Bidder, you will need to register to bid on auctions or gain from several on-line email notices regarding availability of items of interest.
  • After you register, "My Account" pages allow you to edit your account settings any time you wish...day or night.
  • "Auctions and Classified Ads" are are available and easy to use. There are no end-of-auction fees, ever!
  • Pictures and videos -- Because we strongly believe you need to see what you are buying, sellers are encouraged to provide good pictures of their items. Up to ten pictures per item are available by clicking on the title of the item or its lead picture. Up to two YouTube videos are available if posted by the seller.
  • "Easy to use Categories" make it easy for find listings of interest. The prime categories are Pistols, Rifles, Shotguns, Shooting Supplies and Shooting Activities. These prime categories have several sub-categories. For example, Shooting Supplies lists Ammunition, Reloading Supplies, Holsters, Hunting and the like. Shooting Activities lists skeet and trap shooting meets, shooting matches, hunting related events and gun club activities.
  • You may create a "Listing Favorites" to keep a list of your "Listings to Watch." Add as many listings to your list as you wish and delete them any time within your personal account pages.
  • "Advanced Search" page allows you to narrow your search or expand your search to meet your exact specifications.
  • Our "Fast Search Engine" is available to search for items by any word or phrase. Better yet, you can enter your ZIP code and find postings at a selected distance from your physical location.
  • "Messaging System" gives you the ability to communicate with sellers directly. If the seller replies to your message through our Message system, that message will be stored on this site for you to retrieve later.   • "Seller's Other Listings" link is conveniently located on the ad display page for you to view all of a particular seller's listings that are currently active on the site.
  • "Tell-a-Friend" link on each listing display page allows you to quickly send an listing's details to a friend using the site's messaging system. No need for email!
  • "Browse by thumbnails" allows you to browse the site previewing thumbnail images of listings without having to first click through to the listing details page.
  • "Contact Seller" link is easily located on each listing page for you to contact the seller directly with any questions you may have concerning their listing. The listing id is automatically included in the message that is sent.
  • Our "Fast Search Engine" is available to search for items by any word or phrase anywhere in a posting. Better yet, you can enter your ZIP code and find postings at a selected distance from your physical location.
